How is it that you distinguish the voice of God from your conscious?

You got me here. Your mother Sis. Garland claims God has given her the ability to hear His voice. I've never felt like God has spoken directly to me. I'm not proud of it because our Apostolic heritage is to hear the voice of God. We have great men of God who heard the voice of God and were obedient. Bishop Parchia always talks about God telling him to leave Chicago to pastor in Milwaukee, or "I was there," or "I called them when I called them, and I called you when I called you," all supposedly manifestations of Gods voice; or the Miracle man who testifies that he heard both God and Satan talking to each other about him as he burned faced down the fire; or G.T. Haywood, who claimed revelation of the 7 thousand day creation story and revelation of Ezekial's vision; or Ross P. Paddock whose teaching on the book of Revelation forms the foundation of the PAW's teaching on the book of Revelation to this day. There are many other examples of people who vividly and clearly heard God's voice, both modern day and from biblical times. At best I can say, my spirit is open to receive from God what He has for me. I have not forsaken the Faith, and I believe that through the grace of Jesus Christ, Christ will indeed lead me into all truth. I can't do it on my own, nor will I try; It's not my job to be God, but to follow Christ. It's not my Faith, but it is Christ's and Christ's church. However, I do believe Satan has clouded my communication channel, and this is something I hope and pray God deals with with great power and fury.
